The Promotional Merchandise Show exceeds expectations, 2013 Sold Out!

Centaur exhibitions, the bpma and 60 promotional merchandise exhibitors delivered an outstanding Promotional Merchandise Show at Marketing Week live exhibition last week. Expectations of both exhibitors and visitors were exceeded over the 2 day show organised by Centaur Exhibitions at Kensington Olympia, so much so that exhibition space for 2013 has already sold out.

Paul McDonald, Portfolio Director at Centaur Exhibitions comments “I am absolutely delighted with the performance of the first ever Promotional Merchandise Show at Marketing Week Live. For too long the promotional merchandise industry has been let down by end user marketing events and have not been given parity with complimentary parts of the marketing mix. This success would not have been possible without the excellent management and strategic leadership from the bpma. Rarely have I worked with a trade association that is as passionate about its industry or as determined to succeed.”

The profile of Promotional Merchandise was certainly raised amongst the marketing community. Hundreds of enquiries have been taken and many exhibitors have already taken orders. The Promotional Merchandise conference had sell out seminars with many marketers watching from the aisles, proving that many are keen to learn how merchandise can be used as an effective marketing medium.

Overall, the show has been such a huge success for all those involved, so much so that the only show dedicated to Promotional merchandise for marketers has increased in size for 2013.

Stands for the 2013 Promotional Merchandise show were allocated at a faster rate than anticipated, 80% of the stands were rebooked at the show, the remaining stands were sold within days after the show.
