PROMOTA Members Tee Off for Charity
PROMOTA, a trade association which represents manufacturers, importers and distributors in the promotional merchandise industry, has raised thousands of pounds for children’s charity, SPARKS, at its annual golf day. Members of the association, along with new PROMOTA chairman David Webster, recently took to the fairways at Camberley Heath Golf Club, Surrey, for a day of golf and networking.
The day was hosted by ex-champion jockey Jon Francome, who was joined by other sporting and TV celebrities who played alongside 23 teams of PROMOTA members.
PROMOTA has supported SPARKS for a number of years and recognises the important work they do in researching medical conditions that affect babies and children. The association raised more than £10,000 in 2009 for the charity.
David Webster, chairman, said: “The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all and it was a great opportunity to network with members and chat about business and golf!”
