KeepMe and the ‘British’ myth
While many companies like to give preference to British promotional products, the issue is not that clear-cut. When was the last time you saw a field of cotton destined for fabric for an eco-friendly bag? When was the last time you noticed a UK manufacturer of the micro-chips used in ‘British’ pen drives? The fact is, they don’t exist in the UK. These products are imported.
Kevin Anderson, MD, KeepMe Promotions, explains, “If you want quality merchandise at accessible prices, patriotism is irrelevant. It’s a case of harnessing the things that foreign nations do better and providing the right products for UK clients.”
