The ISO 9001 standard requires companies to demonstrate that their internal processes and systems maintain consistently high levels of quality. This includes continually measuring, maintaining and improving the systems.

ISO 14001 requires that the environmental impact of a company’s operations are constantly measured and improved through internal controls and supply chain management.
