International cooperation to play even greater role for PSI trade show

Posted in Industry News on Tue 11 Sep 2012

At the Leading International Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry from 9th to 11th January in Düsseldorf, 1000 square metres have been set aside in Hall 11 for the completely redesigned International Associations Area.

This will provide room enough for the associations to present themselves in an attractive setting and with the assistance of hostesses speaking their respective national languages, to present their work and to network. Of course, the area will also have an attractive coffee bar section for talks in a relaxed atmosphere. Among the stands already booked are those from the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and Italy.

From Europe to South Africa, the USA and Canada, and even Australia: The international network of the promotional products industry and the associated leading international trade fair of the promotional products industry continue to expand their global activities. In this context, the close cooperation already begun with international associations and industry key players will play an even greater role for PSI. Whether it is PPPC (Canada), PPAI (USA), IPSA (Russia), Promoturk (Turkey) or ASSOPROM (Italy): intensive cooperation has already been established with more than 30 associations. Together with ASI (USA) and Sourcing City (UK), PSI is one of three founding members of the new international association PROMO ALLIANCE representing the industry's interests.

"The continuing internationalisation of the trade fair and the PSI network is of great importance to us and a healthy development for the entire sector. Not only does it bring high-quality international customers for our exhibitors and members but input from abroad also supplies the market with new ideas from manufacturers", says PSI Director Freter.
