High Profile Achieves BPMA Charter Status
High Profile, the UK’s leading manufacturer of standard and bespoke made plastic promotional products, has been awarded official Charter Status by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) after meeting its strict criteria and guidelines. The company joins a select list of organisations that have been awarded this highly prestigious and much coveted industry stamp of approval.
High Profile achieved BPMA Charter Status by clearly demonstrating that it had a series of secure systems and infrastructures in place. The company had to show that vital manuals were regularly updated, managed and maintained and that its electronic and paper trails were clear and concise. Additionally, High Profile had to produce a series of documents for detailed inspection by the Charter Committee at the BPMA. These papers included High Profile’s quality management system manual, a copy of their customer complaints policy, their environmental policy as well as financial reporting showing solvency.
Gordon Glenister, Director General of the BPMA commented: “It is excellent news that a leading organisation such as High Profile, who have been a member of the association since it was founded, applied for Charter Status and passed with top class results.
“We are continually seeking to raise the bar within the promotional merchandise industry and companies are only awarded the Status after successfully demonstrating a high level of standards and professionalism within their organisation. We are looking forward to continuing to work closely with Richard Wood and his team.”
Richard Wood, Managing Director of High Profile commented: “We have always been a strong supporter and member of the BPMA and we were keen to achieve Charter Status. Having recently carried out internal audits for several major clients we believed we had the systems and procedures in place to successfully achieve Charter Status.
“The BPMA is regularly improving standards for both supplier and distributor members and we were keen to be part of the wider group that ensures high standards are always met if not exceeded.
“It’s great testament to all the staff at High Profile that we have achieved Charter Status. Without their input this would not have been possible.”
