Festive Promotions sponsor NSPCC Festival of Trees
The NSPCC is launching a Christmas campaign to safeguard youngsters across the region with the support of city businesses. The Festival of Trees will be held in the Mall of the International Convention Centre Birmingham (ICC) throughout December 2013. The fantastic display of beautiful Christmas trees will serve to remind the public of the importance of children at Christmas.
Festive Promotions join the Birmingham Post and Birmingham Mail, UK Mail and KTC Edibles Birmingham as co-sponsors.
Festive Promotions, a leading supplier of bespoke Christmas decorations, are supplying branded baubles to decorate the NSPCC and ChildLine Christmas trees and are making a special bauble offer to all participants in the Festival.
Funds raised by the Festival of Trees will be used to support the charity’s groundbreaking new ChildLine Schools Service, which aims to prevent abuse. Delivered by trained volunteers, the service aims to visit every primary school in Birmingham and across the West Midlands by 2016 to help 9-11 year olds understand abuse in all its forms, and have the knowledge of where to get help if they need it.
Tim Cadel, Festive Promotions co-founder commented: “We are delighted to be supporting this magical Christmas celebration and in particular supporting the NSPCC. Since the NSPCC was established in London in the 1880's it has helped more than 10 million children in the UK. We sincerely hope that our contribution will help the NSPCC in its quest to put an end to cruelty to children.”
Jenny Sedgwick, NSPCC community fundraising manager for Birmingham and the Black Country, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have the support of Festive Promotions and all our sponsors for the NSPCC Festival of Trees. Thanks to the generosity of Festive Promotions, our trees will be beautifully decorated and are sure to catch the eyes of passersby. Every penny donated to the Festival of Trees will help us in our work to protect local children from harm and prevent abuse.”
