Custom-Made Acrylic Candelabras for dynamic table centres from Special EFX

Special EFX has expanded its event services and is now offering bespoke candelabras, which are designed and manufactured to order. Candelabras make striking table centres but can be limiting in design and expensive to hire. EFX’s custom-made candelabras are UK manufactured in acrylic and designed to reflect a requested theme or style. Additional features include low order quantities, bespoke laser engraving, UV printing, alternating LED light unit and flat-pack design.

The EFX design studio can design acrylic candelabras to reflect a particular style or themed event. Graphics and brand decoration can be laser engraved or printed in full colour. Likewise, the decoration can be encapsulated in the acrylic. For maximum flexibility and payback, the candelabras can be designed to house a LED lighting unit, which changes the colour of the entire acrylic candelabra and can be colour programmed for each event.

EFX’s first candelabra commission has recently been completed for Moneyfacts, which hosts a series of prestigious events throughout the year and was looking to reduce the long-term cost of hiring table centre pieces. Anne Joyce, Head of Events at Moneyfacts requested a ‘VIP’ acrylic candelabra which could be tailored to each occasion.

Anne commented: “The hotels usually provide very basic candelabra but we like to differentiate our VIP tables with ‘upgraded’ table centres. We decided a few years ago to try and pull together our own table centres because it was so expensive to hire them or to pay for complex floral arrangements. We thought that investing in some re-usable components would mean that they could go across all our awards events in a year and therefore save money. I was never in any doubt that we would come away with something cost effective and beautiful and now everyone in the office wants one! They are GORGEOUS!”
