bpma Christmas Lunch 2009
Over 190 members and guests enjoyed the festivities at the annual bpma Christmas lunch, held at the Guoman Tower Hotel, London on the 17 December, with a charity auction and raffle raising £6,230 for Different Strokes.
Gill Thorpe, chair of the bpma shared her vision for 2010 whilst reminding members of what a challenging year 2009 had been. She went on to detail the bpma involvement with LOCOG (London 2012), Sedex and the Ethical Trade Initiative. The Organisation has attained ISO9001 and UK Trade & Investment ATO status. The Bpma Academy had two graduations this year with 42 distinctions, and she confirmed that the Association’s involvement with Trade Only, Pro 10 and the recently launched Incentives & Promotional Marketing – Live! show will be a major part of the year.
