BPMA to launch an exciting new trade show in 2016

The BPMA are delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new trade show after answering calls from an increasing number of members who have expressed the desire for an exclusive BPMA member only event, encouraging business between professional supplier and distributor companies.

The product-focused event will launch in September 2016, as it is a key month to allow suppliers to show mid-season product updates, and to present pre-Christmas ranges. It will be held in the Midlands, catering for members across the whole of the UK, and will coincide with the now established National Promotional Products Week.

Gordon Glenister, director general of the BPMA, commented: “We’ll be keeping the cost of exhibiting as low as possible. The purpose of the show is to add real value to our members, providing an environment to grow their business with reputable, professional companies. It’s great, any revenue generated from the show will be reinvested back into the industry, through education and raising awareness of our members to end user buyers.”

The BPMA Education Day will continue to be held the day preceding the Trade Only National Show in January 2016, however the BPMA Annual Awards will move to the new event in September next year. “Our relationship with Trade Only remains strong” reaffirms BPMA Chairman Matt Franks, “they have built a fantastic show in January and we will continue to support this, on a nonexclusive basis.”

Phil Morgan, CEO of SPS said: “As a leading supplier to the industry and a passionate supporter of the BPMA, we are very keen to support a September show organised by the BPMA. I know many other suppliers have expressed a desire for the Trade Association to run a professional show.”

Having this annual show will I hope encourage more members of our industry to join the BPMA."
