B-Loony Dress up in Purple for a Lupus Awareness Funday

Staff members at B-Loony, a leading UK supplier of custom printed balloons, flags, bunting, sashes and banners, are taking part in a Funday to raise awareness and money for Lupus UK, the national charity helping people with the presently incurable immune system illness lupus.

The issue is close to the hearts of all those at B-Loony after a member of staff contracted lupus and bravely fought the illness 3 years ago, spending many months in hospital before returning to work.

The fundraising day has the B-Loony staff all dressing in purple, carrying loads of purple balloons and baking purple cakes! Both the staff and the company will be making donations and they are asking for people to share details of the charity on social media to raise awareness and money for this important cause.

Lupus is a chronic and presently-incurable illness of the immune system, a condition in which the body's defence mechanism begins to attack itself through an excess of antibodies in the blood stream causing inflammation and damage in the joints, muscles and other organs.
