Variable Data Printing From Dischromatics
Dischromatics, the promotional CD, DVD and Blu-ray producer, is complimenting its digital printing facility with the addition of full Variable Data Printing (VDP). The addition VDP (also known as variable information printing (VIP) or VI) means that text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next, without stopping or slowing down the printing process, using information from a database or external file.
The company can now print a set of personalised letters, leaflets, brochures, booklets, postcards or even CD and DVD Digipaks, each with the same basic layout, but with a different image graphic, name and address or even bar code on each.
