The Message is Getting Through

In a recent column I advised and urged suppliers to promote themselves in these testing times. I don’t know whether it was that message or the fact that many of you were stuck in front of your computers, unable to get out and about in the snowy weather, but we have received more news this month than I can ever remember. So, ‘well done’ to all of you suppliers who have contributed … and to those who have not done so, do get in touch and tell us the news about products and services. It’s not difficult!

There have also been several industry events during February, further opportunities for suppliers to promote their wares: the Trade Only Show and BPMA Awards, both reported in our blog section and Promota for which we are still awaiting final figures.

There are a couple of important industry events in March: The Promotional Marketing Exhibition (24 - 26 March, Royal Horticultural Halls, London) which is the subject of our main feature in this issue and SMex, the Sports Merchandise Exhibition (Wembley, 9 March) on which we have a news item.

Paul Sung and the team (including yours truly … for part of the time anyway) from
www.promotional-merchandise.org.uk will be exhibiting at The Promotional Marketing Exhibition on stand number D14. The team will be giving demos of how this website can help generate leads for suppliers and be a fantastic on line resource for buyers. So do pop along to the stand and meet the team.
