Registration now open for PSI - Campaign of the Year

Posted in Industry News on Fri 9 Aug 2013

PSI, the leading European trade show for the promotional products industry, is looking for registrants for their 'PSI – Campaign of the Year', which recognises creative campaigns that integrated a promotional product into their marketing mix.

They can have a supporting effect, take centre stage or just add that extra touch; promotional products are one of the factors that decide the success of a campaign. "Highlighting the performance of promotional products is one of the PSI's core concerns," says PSI CEO, Michael Freter. "As a result, this award has special importance for us, showing as it does what a wonderful advertising medium these small and big products are."

After the extremely diverse winners of previous years, the jury is again looking forward to seeing products used in an innovative and creative manner.

Promotional products distributors, suppliers, advertising agencies and clients who incorporated a promotional product in a campaign can now apply to be entered into the competition. Applicants should note that the campaign presented must have been launched between the closing date of the PSI 2012 Show and 31 October 2013, which is also the deadline for applications.

Nominees and winners will again be supported by various marketing activities and intensive press work on the part of PSI. All campaigns will be publicised in advance to a broad readership on the PSI website and in the PSI Journal. The award presentation ceremony will be held at PSI 2014. This guarantees a high degree of attention for the participants.

This year, the jury consists of representatives from the specialist magazines PSI Journal, TVP and dedica, Manfred Schlösser, Stefan Roller-Aßfalg and Dr. Claus-Jörg Harnisch as well as Hans-Joachim Evers of the GWW, designer Lutz Gathmann, PSI Director Michael Freter and PSI Press Spokesman Dr. Mike Seidensticker.
