PSI 2014 to present promotional products on a catwalk

PSI, the Leading European Trade Show for the promotional merchandise industry, have announced that they will be showcasing promotional products as trendy accessories on a catwalk stage at the show in Düsseldorf, which will be held on 8th to 10th January 2014.

The PSI CATWALK is more evidence that PSI is fast turning into a lifestyle trade fair. In addition to promotional products from the textiles segment, watch collections, bags and new writing utensils will also be featured. Visitors can take a time-out during the fashion show in Hall 10 while enjoying snacks and drinks. The motto of the PSI CATWALK will be “See, Admire, Applaud.”

In the textile segment alone, 300 exhibiting companies will present new promotional products at PSI. These companies will now have the chance to introduce their gear at the PSI CATWALK. The aim for the fashion show is to stage promotional articles as products that belong in the world of fashion. Items will be presented several times a day in thematically arranged groupings. As a result, catwalk appearances will be sorted into categories such as leisure, sport and business.

Several international companies have already registered for the CATWALK. The Hungarian company Anda Present will present items in the business category, including iPad covers, notebook bags and umbrellas. Nimbus Nordic and Lynka will show apparel in the leisure category, including jackets and T-shirts. Vangard Retail from Denmark will focus on sporting goods from the world of cycling. Karlowsky Fashion will present workwear for the restaurant industry, while Alta Seta will present ties and Nunettes will introduce sunglasses. Several categories are already fully booked, but a few slots are still available.

The PSI CATWALK will take place on each of the three PSI trade fair days. On Wednesday and Thursday, visitors can attend the PSI CATWALK at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The final fashion shows on Friday will be staged at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm and, the very last one, at 2:00 pm. In addition, visitors may enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks during the fashion shows at the “Catwalk Counter.”
