PROMOTA Raises £10,000 For Charity
PROMOTA, the trade association which represents manufacturers, importers and distributors in the rapidly expanding promotional merchandise sector, raised £10,000 for children’s charity Sparks, at the Association’s annual golf day. Sparks raises funds for research into medical conditions affecting babies and children.
Held at Camberley Heath Golf Club in Surrey last month, the event was hosted by ex-champion jockey, John Francome, who was joined by a host of sporting and TV celebrities and teams of PROMOTA members for a day of golf. John Thorp and his team-mates from The Leather Business, along with ex-England wicketkeeper Roger Tolchard, scooped the PROMOTA trophy at the end of the day.
