PROMOTA Board moves on discussion with BPMA
PROMOTA members gave their overwhelming support to the PROMOTA Board at this week’s AGM.
Members voted unanimously in favour of moving on negotiations with the bpma by giving the Board the authority to discuss further a potential amalgamation of the two organisations. The Board will now endeavour to reach a timely conclusion to this debate in the best interest of its members.
The AGM, held at The Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire, on Tuesday 27 October 2009, saw 30 member companies pressing the Board for more details to help them to make an informed decision.
Rod Duncan, PROMOTA Chairman, said: “We are committed to giving our members answers, and we will make our recommendation to the membership once we have negotiated the fine detail. Our members are our priority, and any discussions we have will be with their best interests in mind.”
