PROMOTA Board members’ responsibilities

Suppliers and distributors will have the opportunity to play an active part in the future of the PROMOTA in line with requests from suppliers and distributors to remodel the association so that it is able to improve communication and meet the needs of the members more efficiently.

David Webster, PROMOTA chairman, said, "Our members have given us a vote of confidence. Now is the time for the board to fulfil its pledge to radically change the way that PROMOTA operates. 

"The board recognises that suppliers, distributors and overseas members have different needs and wants from the association. In the first meeting following the EGM, the board has created three teams with the remit to establish exactly what the association should be offering to its members." 

Paul Lenton, Billbo UK, has been appointed to chair the supplier group. 

The distributor group will be led by Steve Lee, FDR Promotions, a long-standing board member and distributor, and new board member Fionn Dolan, from Bright Promotions in Ireland is well placed to examine the needs of our overseas members. 

A series of network business meetings is due to take place across the country over the coming months to develop a plan for the future for the benefit of all PROMOTA members.
