Message From Promota’s Chairman
With the majority of trade shows over for the year, most of us are now back in the office dealing with enquiries and quotations, and eagerly anticipating a summer that will be better than the last one both from a business and weather point-of-view.
More than ever, it’s important for businesses to be pro-active and maintain the optimism most of us demonstrate when dealing face-to-face with prospective customers at the shows and apply it to the workings of our companies.
While things could be better, and probably would be if the media stopped telling us we’re ‘doomed’ in the current economic climate, things could be worse.
We are currently seeing the number of PROMOTA members increasing and celebrating many years in the promotional business, which is good for both the association and the industry.
What’s more, the association is seeing an increasing number of members amending and altering their services and products ranges in order to reflect the business changes we are all currently experiencing, and taking advantage of the new opportunities this presents.
Ultimately, we can see how well the promotional merchandise industry is able to adapt to changes, be they positive or negative.
