Marketing Week Live – the UK’s largest marketing event
For the promotional merchandise industry, Marketing Week Live provides a great forum for demonstrating the effectiveness of promotional products as a marketing medium as well as showcasing new products, ideas and techniques. The show is taking place next month, on the 26th and 27th June at Olympia Grand, London.
Marketing Week Live is made up of 8 industry focused zones which all offer unrivalled educational content that can help marketers to spend budgets more effectively in order to gain a competitive advantage, generate better ROI and enhance personal career development. The show offers a platform for marketers to discover leading suppliers, the latest knowledge, technology and techniques.
If you are not up-to-date with what is happening at this year’s show, here is a summary of what is on offer and who will be exhibiting.
June’s show has a robust programme of speakers including Kathy Parker, VP of marketing innovation at Diageo; Bruce Daisley, UK sales director at Twitter and Ian Cranna, VP Marketing and Category, Starbucks UK.
As an increasingly valuable part of the marketing mix, effective promotional merchandise campaigns need to live and breathe the brand. The Promotional Merchandise Zone at Marketing Week Live, in partnership with the British promotional merchandise association (bpma), will demonstrate how to successfully integrate promotional merchandise into a marketing strategy to increase brand recall and sales.
Last year the Promotional Merchandise Show was one of the most vibrant zones in Marketing Week Live. This year’s show will have over 60 exhibitors covering a wide range of promotional gift suppliers, all with a range of different ideas to inspire your marketing campaigns. A conference session by BPMA Director, Gordon Glenister, will cover ‘21 great ideas to rev up your marketing campaign’. Other conference sessions include ‘Bang On with BILLY BOY - Using humour through promotional marketing to achieve a unique brand position’, ‘When Good Isn’t Good Enough – a bold brand refresh for Cancer Research UK’ and ‘The ‘Brave’ New World of Promotional Advertising – how Visit Scotland harnessed a highly relevant partnership and a range of traditional and digital tools to maximise impact on a local and global scale!’
Some of the many promotional merchandise industry exhibitors at this year’s show include the BPMA at stand D104, B-Loony Ltd at stand E202, BTC Group at stand D312, Galpeg at stand D500 and Outstanding Branding at stand D220.
Also, new for this year, Marketing Week Live will be launching the Retail Therapy feature which will focus on the core challenges retailers and consumer-facing brands experience in today’s market, including: social media application; multi-channel marketing; understanding consumer behaviour and how to effectively integrate mobile into a marketing campaign. Agency-side specialists will host each table, conducting a lively discussion that promises to deliver valuable combination opinion, experience and knowledge.
