Encore Event hailed a success

The Encore Event this year was held at Whittlebury Hall, near Silverstone, on Thursday July 25th. Encore members took advantage of another lovely Summer day and a fabulous venue to attend a 40 strong supplier exhibition followed by the fabulous awards dinner in the Grand Prix Suite.

After Dinner guest speaker Gordon Glenister spoke about the new BPMA initiatives before Encore's own 'funny man', Ashley Abrahamson, announced the winners of the Distributor and Supplier of the Year awards which were presented by Encore Director Diane Mensley.

BTC Group took the Distributor of the Year award, closely followed by Falcon Promotions. The Supplier of the year award was taken this year by PF Concept and was accepted by a delighted Tracey Bowen, with Senator Pens being runner up.

Encore Account Director, Diane Mensley, commented: "We had a great day at Whittlebury; the turnout by distributors was excellent and we have had some fabulous comments from the suppliers who all had a worthwhile day and evening networking in a relaxed, informal atmosphere - the venue, food and service were again excellent."

Encore, now in its 3rd year, is going from strength to strength and offers a great catalogue with group benefits backed up by a data driven web presence to support suppliers and distributors in the promotional gift marketplace.
