EC Group Celebrates 200th Anniversary

EC Group, leading UK provider of marketing support services, is set to celebrate its 200^th anniversary next month.

EC Group began providing packing, warehousing and distribution services under the name E. Christian & Company in 1810. In the 1940s, the company pioneered bespoke point-of-sale storage and distribution services and in the1950s, it was one of the first companies to introduce promotional marketing support services. The company was rebranded as EC Group in December 2004.

EC Group Managing Director, Chris Long, whose family has owned the business since 1920, says: “I’m proud to say that the firm’s emphasis on flexibility and service delivery has endured for the whole 200 years.”
