CHX Products invests in local people as part of its growth strategy
CHX Products, a leading UK manufacturers of fast turnaround plastic promotional products, is continuing its growth and expansion plans and has brought in its latest member of staff to boost the team. As part of their ongoing growth strategy CHX is investing in local people from the area. The first to benefit from the employment opportunity is Luke Wood, who has joined in the role of Junior Artworker.
In his new position Luke will be responsible for producing innovative and creative images showcasing CHX Product’s entire portfolio of items, logos and website design. Luke, who has previously won a Young Arts Leader Award, used to work behind the scenes at Cornish Living TV before pursuing his ambition to work in creative and digital artwork.
Andy Knight, Managing Director of CHX Products, commented: “Luke is very passionate and has always been interested in art. He will bring with him a fresh perspective capturing our product range in a way that will not only be fun and new but also get the attention of the end user, whether they are looking at our website, brochure or product visuals.
“It’s a great match and we are glad that he could join the team. He will be an asset and add great value to our offering.
“We felt that it was important to reflect the nationwide campaign to invest ‘local’ and particularly to invest in people as part of our ongoing strategy.”
Commenting on his appointment, Luke Wood added: “CHX’s portfolio of products is extensive. This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m really excited about the chance to work with such a great team.”
This is the latest in a long line of strategic developments for the company following its recent move to larger more expansive premises and bringing in a new business development manager. CHX Products offers a standard range of promotional products including badges, keyrings, trolley tokens, and fridge magnets, as well as bespoke or custom made items using their in-house graphic design studio and toolmaking and assembly departments.
