Another successful Annual Exhibition & Race day for Ignite Group
The Ignite group returned to Warwick Racecourse on October 3rd for their annual exhibition and race day. This followed the launch of Ignite’s seventh catalogue, hailed by both suppliers and members as the best yet.
85 suppliers and distributors, the largest attendance for the event so far, arrived early for a morning table top exhibition in the marquee. The exhibition provided a forum for relaxed business discussions and a chance to examine new Autumn products.
A lunch was scheduled at 2.00pm in the Kingmaker suite, a delightful room with a large balcony providing perfect viewing of the racecourse directly opposite the finishing post.
The event was much praised by suppliers for its informal atmosphere and for the split format which allowed people to stay for the whole day or leave earlier if they wished.
Jamie Marshall, CEO of Premier Print and Promotions, commented: "The ignite exhibition is like no other, incredibly relaxed atmosphere with suppliers/friends of many years, not like a day’s work but a gathering of likeminded business people who want to talk business but have fun at the same time. Coupled with the afternoon races and the evening’s entertainment what more could you ask for from a day."
Sim Shalom, Sales Director at Listawood, was very positive about the event: "Great event, a relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity for us to showcase Autumn product launches in an informal setting. Add to this many useful conversations with customers and the ability to pick a few winners (yet fail to back them!), all made for a very productive day. Ignite continues to grow in stature as a group and we look forward to supporting all members through the coming year."
Alistair Mylchreest, CEO of Sourcing City, also praised the format: "The Ignite Group race day is a superb format, giving a morning of key suppliers product, followed by an afternoon of informal & relaxed networking, while enjoying a drink or two, great food, and the odd flutter. A great group of people enjoying a great day. Thank you Richard for a superb day."
