I&PM Exceeds Expectations
With over 3,000 visitors passing
through the doors of Hall 7 at the NEC last week (21-22 September) there can be
no doubt that Incentives & Promotional Marketing – Live! and its sister
show, Print for Business – Live!, have exceeded expectations and secured their
places in the marketing industry’s event calendar.
Stephen Richards, MD of event organiser, Waypoint, said, "I was delighted with the outcome, we needed to demonstrate the value of a show for end users/corporate decision makers. There were times during the two days that the shows really buzzed. More than 3,000 visitors was a great result and the crossover audience coming through from the other shows was a bonus – delivering our promise to introduce new and important and buyers who may not otherwise have attended events such as these. With re-bookings and commitment already above expectation, the results speak for themselves and we look forward to next year!"
I&PM set out to be an inclusive and educational event, rather than just a clutch of stands, and the weighty and well attended seminar programme, including a keynote from bing on its rebrand, was well received.
Promotional-merchandise.org.uk had its own stand at the show and Paul
Sung, Sales Director, Promotional-Merchandise.org.uk, said, “The team here at www.promotional-merchandise.org.uk left
the I&PM show feeling positive after a busy couple of days. We had a great
stand location, a pleasing number of buyers posted requests through to our Quick Quotes Lead Generator (which
was being demonstrated on the stand), plus it is always good to catch up with
our partners in the industry. We will monitor lead / enquiry conversion closely
over the next few months, however early signs are looking promising".
Other exhibitors also had positive comments to make, Andy Fairbain, Director, Groovy Chocolate, said, “Incentives & Promotional Marketing – Live! was a good show for us with lots of interest in our promotional chocolate and many genuine enquiries.”
Tim Cadel of Business Baubles said, “We had a good number of enquires from buyers large and small. We have
already booked for next year! What more can I say?”
Visitors too were impressed by the event: Sarah Jefferson of Chorus Hotels, said, “I havehad a good productive morning. I am here looking for Christmas gifts and promotional items. I have walked away with a bagful of great items and good contacts.
The real proof of the pudding is the rebookings which already include Groovy Chocolate, Ocean Pearl, Print Asia, Richard Edwards, Sweet Temptations,Water 2 Go, Resort Vacation Certificates, Orb International, We Brand It,Sourcerers, Business baubles, MRS Web Solutions, JMP, Terminic, Logax Swarovski, Company Cards and T King.
